In 2020 the Greater Manchester Combined Authority established a Women and Girls Equality Panel, alongside 6 other equality panels, to accelerate gender equality in the city-region and highlight the voices of those not traditionally included in policymaking. The Panel works towards a vision for all women and girls across the ten boroughs of Greater Manchester and beyond to have equal opportunity to start well, live well and age well.

The Panel aims to represent the voices of women and girls accross the whole of Greater Manchester, and currently has a vacancy for a panel member living and/or working in the borough of Rochdale.

The deadline for application submission is Sunday 15th March.
We will reach out to successful candidates by the end of January, you will then receive and complete an induction.

* Panel membership is open to all women over 18 living and/ or working in Greater Manchester who want to apply. Girls and young women between 16 and 18 can apply if they are able to attend meetings with a parent/carer or an adult representative from an organisation they are affiliated with, such as a youth worker.
